Korean churches began to grow rapidly since 1970s. Korean pastors had felt a need to train the laity in the middle of the Korean churches' growth and the pastors who had this need, began to implement discipleship training in the churches.
As there had been a move of re-evaluating the discipleship training like a new trend in the Korean churches since 1980s, many people claim the uselessness of the discipleship training.
The researcher of this thesis sought a way to supplement the shortcomings of the discipleship training in this Korean churches' current situation.
In order to maximize the effectiveness of discipleship training, the discipleship training based on Tong-Bible has been carried out at Eunkang church, where this researcher serves.
As it begins the thesis, the aim of the thesis is to investigate, to study and topresent about the positive effect of the Tong-Bible on discipleship training.
Hopefully, this study could supplement the shortcomings of the Korean discipleship training statement and also expect to help the believers' faith-training as well.
