title A Study of Genesis : A Discovery of the Heart of God Through Genesis
abstract This paper delves deeply into the essential Christian concept of gratitude, exploring why believers should constantly give thanks to God in every aspect of their daily lives. Specifically, it highlights seven fundamental areas of gratitude that every child of God should actively practice. First, believers should give thanks to God for His magnificent work in creating the heavens and the earth. Second, they should express love and gratitude to God for His creation of humanity and for being part of His divine plan. Third, believers must show continuous gratitude for all that God provides, recognizing His mercy and abundant provision in their lives. Fourth, there should be an acknowledgment of personal shortcomings and a sincere confession of sin, accompanied by repentance and sorrow for failing to fully love God as He deserves. Fifth, believers are called to find peace and rest in God's presence, expressing gratitude for the comfort and security He offers. Sixth, there should be an unwavering expression of gratitude for the confidence found in God's grace and the assurance of salvation. Finally, the seventh aspect is the firm belief in and gratitude for the eternal rewards that God has promised. This paper argues that when these expressions of gratitude are applied across all human relationships, peace will naturally flourish within homes, between societies and nations, and within churches, leading to an increase in both peace and joy. The Keystone Korean Baptist Church, under the leadership of Pastor Eun Bok Kim, adopts these seven "rewards of gratitude, virtue, and good works" as part of their confession of faith. Their goal is to pursue the eternal rewards promised by God, as recorded by the Apostle Paul in Philippians 3:14, Acts 20:24, and 2 Timothy 4:7-8, through a ministry grounded in love for God and for one's neighbor.
