| abstract |
This thesis looks at the deep connection between spirituality and nature. The thesis aims to understand the ways different Eastern religions, Hinduism, Buddhism, Confucianism, and Daoism as well as some Indigenous beliefs interpret the significance of nature. There is a personal perspective throughout the thesis reflecting on the deep connection felt with nature. The thesis contains questions about the connection between some people and nature, their responsibility, spirituality, and the influence of their religion. The thesis encourages an open-minded approach to studying religions. It concludes by showing the connection between spirituality, religion, and the natural world.
