title The Effect of Tong Preaching on Faith Development in the Generation MZ: A Case Study on the Youth Group of Jumunjin Methodist Church
abstract

This paper is a study that has examined how Tong preaching affect the newly emerging generation of the Generation MZ in the 2020s. Also called 'M Zee' or 'M Zed,' this generation has become more controversial than any other previous generations. One has already misunderstood Generation MZ if one simply interprets the Generation MZ by the same sense as the previous generations X, Y, Z, and millennials.

Do you know about the fact that most people understand the Generation MZ as negative? If you looked at the title of this paper and have already felt reluctant to know something about the Generation MZ, it is true that you have understood the MZ to some extent. This is because the society perceives them as a 'generation of the incommunicable.' Generation MZ is not just a word for generations, but rather close to a word derived from sarcastic tones against them. They don't try to humour it if it doesn't suit their heart. They are a generation with a unique way of thinking that makes all their opponents into young boomers and old boomers when they have a different will, and draws the line with those people.

This paper is an in-depth study of the MZ, such a generation of the incommunicable, and how Tong preaching can influence them to cast off their miscommunication and develop a positive faith. In particular, the purpose of this paper is to present the need for Tong preaching by investigating and analyzing how to teach them the word of God fully and correctly to make the young Generation MZ a promising generation that can encompass all generations.

This paper adopts Cho Byung-ho's Tong preaching program to carry out the process together and describe results. Surely the Tong preaching program is effective in changing the way of thinking of the Generation MZ by the bible. It could seen that they had higher concentration level and showed more interest in sermon methods using holistic bible programs than in sermons that were usually held using textbooks of other publishers.

If one understands the methodology of Tong preaching and apply it to individual churches, it is certain that the Generation MZ of this age will live with hope in the Bible, the word of God. Proper growth comes from proper education. The Generation MZ will no longer be a generation of the incommunicable, but a generation that opens up the kingdom of priests, the kingdom of God.
