title DISC School for Congregational Relationship
abstract

In this paper, we started with concerns about forming relationships within the church. The purpose of this study was to conduct a 'DISC School' seminar as a training method to build relationships within the church. First, we understood the characteristics of the area where the church was located and identified the current status of the church. Then, a survey was conducted to determine the satisfaction level of believers living their religious life within the church. Through the survey, you will be able to see the importance of relationship education. We want to show how it affects the formation of relationships after receiving education. This study was based on literature research that synthesized, organized, and analyzed related literature. First, we studied human existence. Next, we looked at the meaning of human relationships, and then looked at the academic and general concepts of human relationships. Continuous research on human relationships was in progress, and we talked about the importance and necessity of human relationships in the church. And by looking at the changes in human relationships that are taking place in the Bible through examples of characters in the Bible, it highlights the need for relationship education to improve the relationships that are taking place in the church today.

The DISC psychological test was used as a tool for relationship education. Let's take a look at what DISC is and look at the four behavior types (initiative, sociable, stable, and cautious) that DISC refers to. And using DISC, we continued to explain the DISC school that is being conducted within the church. DISC school begins with explaining the theory of DISC and understanding what type of behavior the participating students have through a DISC test. Then, they form groups for each behavior type and share the pros and cons of each behavior type, while taking time to understand and sympathize with each other. This paper was able to discover how the psychological testing tool called DISC can be used to improve relationships so that a more abundant religious life can be had within the church. Through this thesis, you will understand yourself, understand others, and change the world with the character of Christ both inside and outside the church.
