The Church is the hope of this generation. Unlike our local church building, the true meaning of church is the gathering of true believers, people with faith in Christ. In other words, a true church can be rebuilt in our workplaces based on this scripture, "If you continue in my word, you are truly my disciples; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free" (John 8:31-32). One day, you walk into the office of yours and kneel before your desk, lifting hands to God with praises saying, "Lord, I worship you!" Suddenly, your workplace is no longer just a place you work for money, but it becomes a sanctuary where you give worship in spirit and in truth, a God's dwelling place.
Most members of society spend roughly two thirds of a lifetime at the workplace, immersed in worldly, work-related events, and away from the worship that God has called His people to do. People may refer ‘worship' to the weekly Sunday service at the local church, but God is worthy of worship more than one Sunday a week. God is worthy of praise and worship all the time, including at the workplace where people collectively spend most of their lives. "Worship as the rhythm of our lives" can be biblically defined in the this paper and the question of how it can be implemented in the daily lifestyle, specifically in the workplace, will be further explored and defined throughout the course of this paper.
