title Spiritual Pilgrimage for Faith Maturation
abstract 'Departure' from the Eden was the outset of mankind. This departure brought in the new transition and hope for the future. Since, people have been continuously travelling place to place with various objectives and reasons. Some especially dive into pilgrimage in order to ease their inner complications or to satisfy their philosophical and religious desires. While studying the spiritual and educational effect of this pilgrimage, researcher also found out the conflict and apprehension what seminary students usually encounter, which is the uncertainty of the presence of God. It is the matter of religious belief, and at the same time, of academic strife. It is also of the uncertainty of the call from God. Part of it is due to the fact that church and pastors have become a dishonor in Korean society.

Therefore, it is importance to experience this Spiritual Pilgrimage for seminary students; professors and senior pastors being their mentors. It aims to find and revitalize oneself by encountering God through Mother Nature, spiritual activities, and various factors such as society, culture, history and religion. Triune God's ministry of Creation and Salvation have been fully unfolded with the incarnation of the God the Son, Jesus Christ. Christ himself is a sign of salvation and he points out love and grace by walking through pilgrim life of the cross. Finding out this mark of creation and salvation, participants of this Spiritual Pilgrimage will finally start to make a fellowship with God and to taste the beauty of the created world.

Researchers hope that not only seminary students or pastors but all Christians to experience Spiritual Pilgrimage. For that, Seminaries and local churches should be the pivot and provide programs for this spiritual, devotional, and theological journey. Researcher also hope that this pilgrimage to be extended to God's evangelical and missional movement. Thereby building up more servants of Lord to spread out the Kingdom of God.
