titleTong-Bible Reading with Facebook: A Study of Reading the Bible through with Social Media
abstract The Bible, God's Word, has been proclaimed and influenced by the media of the time. Today's anxieties of the church will be how to deliver the Word of God to the world in a rapidly changing media environment. This study investigates how to read the entire Bible through the Tong Bible method of Byoungho Zoh's on the basis of social media.

First, this study looked at social media environment, in other words, the media environment of today. Many people are communicating with social media, exchanging information, and producing contents. In this kind of social condition, Christianity should use social media to create a way to spread the Bible that contains the essence of Christianity. The researcher found that one of social network services called 'Facebook,' which is the most popular service among other social media, could be useful for introducing the Bible.

In this study, the methodology of 'Tong Bible' was chosen as a way of reading the Bible. As a result, we divided the Bible into '7 tracks,' 'God's mind 20,' and 'Bible stems 40,' and lectured on Facebook. This study used Facebook as a tool to create a 'group.'

After the lecture, we interviewed the participants divided by different generations. The study found that there was a meaningful change in the perception that the whole Bible is being viewed in the Bible. By linking the stories of the Bible with historical events and figures, there was a change that made the Bible recognizable as a historical fact, not a fiction. It also showed that the benefits of social media have had positive results in learning and teaching the Bible.

I hope that this project will contribute to the way of Tong Bible reading and studying on the basis of Social media based on Facebook.
