titleA Study of Reading the Bible Through for Children: A Case of GwangMyung Seohyun Church, Gwang-Ju, Korea
abstract The sociocultural environment surrounding children is changing in a negative direction to their faith growth. I am convinced that this study is necessary for the children in crisis is the Bible. So how do you teach the Bible to children? Child Bible education carried out in church education did not teach the whole Bible. Like adult Bible education, it was partial and biased. Finally, the children did not have the opportunity to learn and experience God's heart through the Bible.

In order to overcome the partiality and bias of children's Bible education, this study applies Byoungho Zoh's Tong-Bible to children's Bible reading. All the story of the Bible can be read in terms of person, family, nations, and even the kingdom of God, so that children can draw a big picture to discover God's will.

The researcher chose <The One Year Tongdok Bible> as a textbook for reading the Bible for the children of Gwangmyung Seohyun Church.

Based on this textbook, we divided the 66 volumes of the Bible into 365 days a year and carried out the reading of the Bible in early morning worship. Adults and children who participated in the implementation of the Gwangmyung Seohyun Church project recognized the value of the Bible and realized the necessity of reading the Bible. And the whole church became an opportunity to recognize the value of the Bible, return to the Bible, and begin individual reform with the Bible.

Gwangmyung Seohyun Church 1 Year 1 Bible Readings Project who participated in the implementation church members were able to understand the whole Bible as a story and to preach it to others by bible story. In reading the Bible in the order of history, he became a holy citizen of the kingdom and had practical faith to overcome the temptations of sin. Young children also took their faith from their parents and pledged to build a faithful family by looking back at the world through the Bible.
