titleTong Bible Program for Young Adult Ministry: A Study of Saesoon Church, Changwon, Korea
abstract In this 21st century, young adults in Korea are going through tough times. Things are going more and more rapidly changed in the world, and, for example, the employment rate of young adults is hitting the bottom nowadays. Many of the young adults even give up getting married their and giving childbirth, too. Christian young adults are not exceptional, either. But what the problem is that within this situation, their religious beliefs get to face a crisis. Once they enter a college, they begin to lose their religious beliefs, and after getting a job with all the hardships, they neglect their religious practices with an excuse that they are too busy at work. Their faith gets to shake on account of temptations and persecutions in young adults. Now let's consider the fundamental cause of this problem. The author deems that their religious beliefs waver because they are not with the words from the Bible, the basis of sound religious beliefs.

Korean churches should pay attention to young adults for the church's future. Particularly, they should help them to learn the Bible, the words of God, properly. As one of the ways for it, the researcher suggests Tong (通) Bible programs. The researcher provided a Tong (通) Bible program for young adults and then wrote this thesis to describe the process and outcome.

The future of Korean churches depends on young adults. If we disregard young adults, Korean churches will lose its power soon. To let young adults stand righteously as God's person, they should be educated properly about the Bible, God's words. As one of the ways for it, this researcher proposes the Tong (通) Bible program which Byoungho Zoh has developed. According to the results of operating the program by this researcher and young adults, young adults' understanding of the Bible has elevated considerably. From the very place, the recovery of young adults' religious beliefs will begin.
