titleRecovery of Holistic Mission : A Case Study of Saejungang Church, Anyang, Korea
abstract The purpose of this study is to recover holistic mission, in terms of biblical and contextual perspectives, by examining the case of Saejungang church, and to look beyond the present and hope for the future of missional church. God is the missionary God (Missio Dei), and the people of God are missionary people. It is important to remember that our mission is not our own, but that it is God's and that God has called the church to join God's divine mission. In fulfilling these missions, all of these things are not the only ones who could afford to do, nor are they exclusive to ministers or missionaries. We must realize that they are the works of the whole church and that all the saints are part of them. Furthermore, we must remember and practice that God's mission. Mission is one of the highest tasks God has bestowed us on earth, where all missionary resources, including the church, must work together.

God's world mission cannot be accomplished with only one type of ministry or specific gifts. God has created each of us uniquely and gave each person unique gifts useful to serve God. We have pointed out the weak points of weak team ministry in Korean missions. In order to become a holistic mission, delegation and cooperation based on mutual trust are needed. It is to live a life of energetic mission by working together with the perspective of the kingdom of God and being a body of Jesus Christ. For this purpose, a holistic missional life that includes both regional, generational, and field categories will lead to a more biblical, balanced and healthy mission.

In addition, in the category of the field of mission, each church can develop holistic missions through networks with other churches, networks with seminaries and denominations, networks with mission para-churches and NGOs, and a network of diverse professional and missional ministries. When missionary resources in diverse areas become united through respect, trust, and love, we will be able to see energetic and balanced beautiful missional fruits.
