We will soon celebrate the 500th anniversary of the Reformation that Luther started with posting 95 Theses on Wittenberg University Church in 1517. Protestant churches
have grown on the basis of the spirit of the Reformation such as 'sola scriptura', 'sola fide' and 'sola gratia' for last 500 years. However,
Protestant churches today have lost the spirit of the Reformation and went away from the Bible. The purpose of this study is to propose a concrete alternative in order
to restore 'sola scriptura’, the spirit of the Reformation and back to the Bible. This study used the methodology of 'Tong-Bible' and 'Narraphor.' 'Tong-Bible'
methodology created by ByoungHo Zoh is to read as a 'whole' and not in 'part,' to read in chronological order, to focus on the Heart of God. 'Narraphor' method created
by Leonard Sweet is to understand the events of the Bible as a narrative and metaphor. In addition, this study used the 'Bible Listening' method in order to maximize the
benefits of the 'Tong-Bible' methodology. This study investigated the methodology of 'Tong-Bible' and 'Bible Listening' in detail. The author propose '48 Hours
Chronological Order of the Bible Listening' and 'Listening to The Bible 10 Times in One Year' as an important alternative for the recovery of the Bible. The author
interviewed in-depth 4 people who participated in this program. As a result, the methodology of 'Tong-Bible' and 'Bible Listening' is very effective in studying the
Bible. Especially, listening to the Bible in chronological order and understanding the Bible as the Heart of God are very effective. The author wishes Protestant
churches to recover the Bible, the essence of the Protestant faith while celebrating the 500th anniversary of the Reformation. In conclusion, this study proposes
'Bible-Tongchung' applying the methodology of 'Tong-Bible' and 'Bible Listening'. The author is confident that 'Bible-Tongchung' will be an effective alternative.
