This research explores how the integration of medical and health humanities improves healthcare providers ability to gain insight and self-awareness through contemplation and the use of art and the humanities to become more present and authentic providers of care and creatively use their lived experiences to develop authentic relationships to address healthcare conditions more broadly with greater intention and presence to themselves in order to provide wholistic and humanizing care to others.
